A selection of 5 various pieces of Yucca. Yucca is a type of plant and these pieces of dried plant stalk are bird safe, soft and chewable. Parrots of all sizes and pocket pets (like Rats, Guinea Pigs and Rabbits) love munching on the soft, fibrous natural material. It’s great to give as a foot toy, thread onto your own creations or stuff into a foraging holder (like a Baffle Cage or Buffet Ball). You can poke a hole into the soft yucca to put dry food treats for your pet to find. The last photo is an example of how food can be poked into the yucca.
As a natural item, the pieces do vary and a fair selection will be chosen for you. It is normal for these plant items to have different colours and small, naturally occurring holes. A variety of examples have been pictured. Yucca, also known as ‘yukka’.

These were fantastic for my 5-6 week old baby cockatiels who were learning how to chew and use their beaks as the wood is very soft and easy to shred. My adult birds love them too.

My boys love these, even my older bird that rarely “plays” with much takes great delight in ripping them to shreds. A great distraction when they start with unwanted habits as well!!

The wood is soft enough to push little treats into it and that makes it into a great little foraging foot toy. Great fun for the few minutes it takes to shred. An excellent distraction when I have to leave my anxious bird for a while.

Absolutely ripped to shreds by my Lorrie. Was a perfect texture to make him want to continue chewing. Would be perfect for use on toys but personally mine just loves chewing it on it’s own. Will be purchasing more soon!
