Stainless Steel Peg (each)

Stainless Steel Pegs are a safer way to attach items to your birds’ cage bars for them to eat, chew or play with. I have been using these for years with my own birds, to attach snow peas and other greens in their cage, as well as fresh ‘browse’ like native flowers, stems of leaves and seed pods (always cleaned in F10 Veterinary Disinfectant first). You can also peg on chewable items like finger traps, shredding strips, crinkly paper, sola stems and just about any thin thing you can think of. A number of photos are included for suggestions and to show size comparison.

Each peg measures 6cm long, 15mm wide and the metal is 2mm thick. They are made from 304 grade stainless steel, with no plastic or other components.

These pegs are not made as a bird toy and while I consider the design safe to use with my own pets and most birds, please supervise your birds with these. A large parrot trying to manipulate the peg as a foot toy, may find their toe or beak getting stuck!
