Ripple Straw Beads (each)

Ripple Straw Beads are small plastic tubes that can be used in toy making. Thread them along cord or wire, for a dingly toy to suit a small parrot. They come in a range of 8 colours, as pictured. Availability of colours may vary and a random mix will be chosen for you. These are sold individually, so purchase the number you require.

Another main use for Ripple Straw Beads is to safely close the opening in light duty ‘C’ links (as pictured). This is important to keep your bird safe from getting their beak or other parts caught in the opening. C Links can be purchased separately. Each straw piece measures roughly 24mm long and 7mm wide. These are thinner than the standard straw bead. Ripple Straw Beads will not fit onto the thicker, heavy duty C link and need to be used with the Light Duty C link. As a normal part of the manufacturing process, there is often a small plastic ‘dag’ at the end of the straw bead, which can be broken or filed off.
