Aussie Foraging Basket

The Aussie Foraging Basket is a new design for 2025 and is made by me! Safe as can be, I have chosen a range of crunchy goodies that your small to medium Parrot will love to chew and play with.

Inside the cane basket, there’s a couple of Sola Plant Stems, Bamboo Chew Sticks, plain paddle pop sticks, balsa wood sticks and a handful of shredded crinkly paper (colours will vary). Lots of these chewable delights can be found in the toy parts section of the store, for refilling this great toy.

The Aussie Foraging Basket measures roughly 13cm wide, 10cm deep and 17cm tall. The whole toy hangs roughly 30cm tall on the coloured plastic chain and you will just need a hanging link for the top (re-use from your supply or I can include one). Alternatively, you can attach the toy to the wall of your birds’ cage, with just the plastic C  link, where it would sit roughly 20cm tall instead and the chain wouldn’t be used.
