Exhibition/Show Holiday For Brisbane Area
The ‘Ekka’ has come to Brisbane! The different council areas in the region have different public holidays for this, which affect our parcel carriers on different days. This means some minor disruption to parcel sending on Monday and Wednesday this second week of August.
We are in ‘Moreton Shire Council’ which has a public holiday on Monday 8th August this year. That means our local post office isn’t operating, so no Australia Post parcels will be sent on Monday. Parcels for Australia Post will be sent as normal from Tuesday the 9th of August and throughout the rest of the week.
The Aramex depot is in Brisbane City Council, where the public holiday is Wednesday the 10th and therefore I will not have Aramex collection on Wednesday. Aramex (aka Fastway) parcels were sent as usual on Monday and Tuesday then will be sent from Thursday 11th August as normal.
